Vista Academy of Visual and Performing Arts (VAVPA) is a kindergarten through eighth grade arts magnet school with approximately 1,100 students in the Vista Unified School District.

The mission of VAVPA is to educate students in an environment that encourages creativity, self-awareness and self expression through an appreciation of the visual and performing arts.

We are committed to eveyr child achieveing and exceeding the academic standards within the vision of an integrated arts approach. Our goal is to accelerate student learning by emphasizing the arts.

Because of our unique format and the age groups served, students are with us for more years than is typical at other schools; this has helped to create our close-knit community.
